Piecework Magazine

I recently discovered Piecework Magazine.  It takes a historical approach to needle crafted arts.

A look at the Spring 2020 issue’s contents gives you an idea of the range of articles, and how fascinating the magazine is.  I’m eagerly awaiting the next issue.

My favorite article “Sewing with Martha Washington” talks about the education she received, and how sewing fit into her daily life.  As my husband and I visited Mount Vernon a few years ago, and loved it, this article put me right back on that tour of their lovely home.
