Just what you need as the snow moves in!  Light Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup from Sally’s Baking Addiction.  The recipe is simple, but she has tons of variations and tips for it, including using 1/2 cup of cream to make it creamier.  If it’s an option, I always use butter, I always use cream.

It’s that time of year when perfectly nice Gingerbread Man cookies get my scary decorating touch.  I did find a whole bag of the red cinnamon candies, so those can be scary red eyes.  My real problem is I’m always using buttercream frosting instead of Royal Icing to decorate, so things get messy fast.

It’s time for me to get muffin top pans for baking.  They’re the nice shallow pans that can make big cookies or thin muffins.   From the English Kitchen, Cranberry and Corn Toaster cakes you can warm up in your toaster.
