Vintage Recipe cards finds all sorts of mostly gross old recipes for her page. It’s very entertaining. This week she’s recommending a Reddit page called Old Recipes. Reddit’s always kind of rough territory, but, if you’d like to share your old recipes or find new ones, take a look.
I like the looks of this Chicken and Rice casserole, andyou don’t need to pre-cook the rice, which I love, and she suggests a cooking time if you’d like to halve the recipe. A nice Sunday dinner in the making.
What could be better than a cookie that has three of my favorite cookies in one? From Sally’s Baking Addiction, the lovely Big Fat Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies. I have all the ingredients but Mr. DOA nixed trying them so I’ll have to wait for company. (sniff)
I’ll have no better luck getting him to try Life In The Lofthouse’s Sour Cream Coffee Cake With Browned Butter Glaze. I have a bundt pan, but have never made a bundt cake. I do know they have mini-bundt pans, just in case I make it for company and am in love.
For a nice step up from Crescent Roll wrapped hot dogs, the English Kitchen has a nice, toasted, cheesy hotdog to try. It looks pretty wonderful.
Here’s the picture of my Blueberry Cobbler from last week I promised. It was so nice, I wonder if I could use the blueberry part in a pie.
